Labour Correspondents Commiserate With TUC On The Passing Of Two Officials In Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack
The leadership and members of the Labour Correspondents Association of Nigeria (LACAN), a group of Journalists covering activities in the labour sector, have extended deep condolences to the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) and families of late Comrades Musa Lawal Ozigi mni and Akin Akinsola, the Kwara state chapter chairman of TUC who were among Nigerians that were killed in a senseless attack as terrorists struck at an Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday.
A condolence message signed by the Chairman of LACAN, Joseph Agi in Abuja read; "LACAN members like all Nigerians are in shock over the dastardly and heinous crime which led to the loss of lives of these two perfect gentlemen and labour leaders per excellence.
"We use this opportunity to extend our heartfelt condolences to their families, the people of Kogi and Kwara states and all Nigerians on this shocking loss and pray that almighty God grant their souls peaceful repose" the statement concluded.
