APC Plotting To Assassinate Opposition Members - PDP National Assembly Caucus

The People's Democratic Party Caucus in both chambers of the National Assembly have raised the alarm on an alleged plot to assassinate it's members for their vocal opposition to the way and manner the ruling All Progressive Congress runs the affairs of the country.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja after a meeting of the caucus, minority leader of the Senate Enyinnaya Abaribe said the opposition party is deeply saddened by the state of insecurity across Nigeria and the lack of capacity of the APC led government to manage the nation's economy.

The caucus lamented what it described as the constitutional breaches committed by the Buhari led administration, adding that the President has remained invisible and quite while the country is shattered by violence and pervasive insecurity.

Abaribe who was in company of the minority leader of the House of Representatives Ndudi Elumelu, Senators and honourable members who were elected on the platform of the PDP, also called for the immediate sack of the Minister of communications and digital economy, Isah Pantami.

The opposition lawmakers insist that Pantami has lost the confidence of Nigerians and should therefore no longer be entrusted with vital national data such as the National Identification Number.
