Ekweremadu Mourns Senator Uwajumogu

Former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has expressed grief over the death of the Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, the late Senate Benjamin Uwajumogu.

Ekweremadu, in a statement by his Media Assistant, Mr. Uche Anichukwu, described the development as “very shocking and tragic”.

He described Uwajumogu as a “vibrant and diligent lawmaker, who gave his best to his constituents, Imo State, and the nation in various capacities”.

“This is, therefore, a huge loss, not only to the good people of Imo State and the Senate, but to the nation”, he added.

Ekweremadu prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased lawmaker and fortitude to his family and the nation the nation to bear the irreparable loss.
