BREAKING: Buhari Releases 43 Ministerial Nominees To Senate For Confirmation

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a list of forty three ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

The list is coming almost two months after the inauguration of Buhari for a second term in office and less than a week to the annual recess of the Senate. 

A letter to that effect was read by President of the Senate Ahmad Lawan on the floor of the Senate during plenary on Tuesday. 

Some of the notable returnees from the previous cabinet includes, 

1 Chris Ngige (Anambra)

2 Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers)

3 Babatunde Raji Fashola (Lagos)

4 Ogbonnaya Onu (Ebonyi)

5 Lai Mohammed (Kwara) 

6 Geoffrey Onyeama (Enugu)

7 Hadi Sirika (Katsina).

According to the President of the Senate, the screening of the ministerial nominees will begin on Wednesday 24th July, he did not however state when the exercise will be concluded.
