National Assembly Bureaucracy Mourns Late Gidado Idris

The clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani Omolori has described the late former clerk of the Assembly, Alhaji Gidado Idris as a man of peace.

A statement signed by the Secretary, Research and Information Directorate in the National Assembly, Dibal Ishaku Adamu quoted the current clerk, Sani Omolori as saying, “Nigeria has lost an illustrious son in the person of late Alhaji Gidado Idris former Clerk to the National Assembly and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).”

The statement said the clerk made the comment while on a condolence visit to the deceased home, he also described the late Idris as a man who set the pace both in the Public Sector and the Legislature.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased whose death he described as a huge loss to the Civil Service and the Nation at large.
According to the statement, the top management of the National Assembly was received by the son of the deceased, Ali Gidado Idris, who expressed the family’s appreciation for the visit at this time of their loss.
