Covenant University produces 88 first class students

Nineteen-year-old Wukeh Egem-Odey on Friday emerged the overall best graduating student of the Covenant University, Ota in Ogun State, South West Nigeria, in the 2011/ 2012 academic session. Egem-Odey is among the 88 first class students produced by the university in the academic session. The first class students were among 1,389 persons conferred with various degrees at the university’s seventh convocation ceremony at Ota. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Aize Obayan, said that 10 of the graduating students were less than 19 years old. Obayan said that 646 of the graduands had second class, upper division while 576 graduated in second class, lower division while 79 received third class degrees.
